Overview

Project Alpha is a placeholder entry, included to exercise the project content pipeline end to end. It is not a real project. The goal of this page is to confirm that frontmatter parses correctly, that the gallery renders with the expected number of items, that thumbnails appear on the listing page, and that responsive variants are produced where the configured pipeline supports it.

Context

When the real portfolio content is added, each project page will describe the problem space, the constraints, and the role taken on. For now, this section exists to give the layout something realistic to render: at least one heading, multiple paragraphs, and a body long enough to surface any typography, spacing, or line-height issues that wouldn't appear in a single-sentence stub.

Approach

Three placeholder gallery images at descending resolutions sit under web/public/projects/alpha/. The thumbnail field reuses the first gallery image to keep the data minimal while still allowing the listing card and the detail page to pull from different sources later. The links array carries two example external links so the detail page can demonstrate a button group without needing a separate fixture.

Outcome

Once the content pipeline is verified against this entry and Project Beta, the schema can be locked and real project pages can be migrated in one at a time without further changes to the surrounding template code.
